Pipino Audio Visual is the public face of Nicholas P. Pipino Associates, Inc., a full-service AV integrator for Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia.
The company was founded in 1969 by “Nicky P” Pipino — a jazz musician who moved from Trenton to the DC area and began supplying tape recorders and overhead projectors to schools. For decades the shop was based in Columbia, Maryland; in 2016 the offices moved to Jessup.
Leadership transitioned from Nick to Steve roughly between 2000 and 2004. Today the company remains strong in unified communications and video conferencing rooms, and in control systems and programming.
K-12 education is a core of the work. Pipino has experience with districts including Anne Arundel, Howard, and Fairfax, and has completed thousands of classroom installs — from design through maintenance.
The company holds AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, and CTS-D certifications (Certified Technology Specialist, Installer, and Design).
Shop: 10545 Guilford Road, Suite 108, Jessup, MD 20794. Phone: (410) 995-0041.
